I joined Scentsy after hosting a party 7 and a half years ago. I received 2 warmers free of charge and 6 waxes half priced. I couldn't believe how much my party guests actually bought (considering it was a month before Christmas)
I thought "Wow people love this stuff! I love this stuff! Maybe I could make this work for me!?!"
A week later I joined to earn some extra money over my maternity leave which would follow in 5 months time. My business cost me £96 inc postage. I didn't invest anything else in my business apart from some nice bags and tags.
My first year I shared with family and friends and social media then I thought about expanding and making a go of this business when I seen other consultants doing so well and achieving incentive prizes and trips.
When I got focussed I started to appear in my Team as a top seller some months. I also won some team incentives due to focus and work. The buzz made me want to keep achieving. I set myself goals each month to always do better than my last month. I then decided I wanted to recruit. I had talked about the opportunity lots to people and recruited my first 3 teamies who each have done well in their own rights. Over 6 years on ans our Team has grown to over 150 Consultants. I offer support and training to my Team and my teamies are part of our wider team "The Scentsy Family" The Community Spirit is like no other I have ever experienced.
The thing with Scentsy is...we set our own goals. We don't have targets. We are our own boss! Incentives and bonuses are there if you want them. We work around our own lives. I now work my Scentsy Business full-time and around my 2 children Rhys 10 and Ellie Rose 5. I am able to work my Scentsy business around my family. All the while earning up to 30% commission (for sharing my love for a product)
I can work from my car, my phone, late at night, at weekend, in the school playground, at swimming lessons, birthday parties, in my pyjamas, whilst socialisinhg with friends.... its all about networking. Meeting people and sharing my love for a product.
I cannot beleive just how well Lorna's Luscious Scents has become. Not only have a achieved financial freedom by earning enough to close a 9 Year Old Childminding business and adding more income to my household but I have made so many new friends and got back in touch with so many friends. I have gained confidence socially. I am now Director of my own Team "Goal Diggin Dolls " and we have a huge support network in each other. They are like my 2nd Family.
I have earned products, gadgets and trips away and bonuses through my sales...
☆ 5 days away to Rome to stay in a 4* Hotel with Scentsy trips and Parties. An experience I will never forget.
☆I earned a week for two on Royal Carribean's biggest Ship Symphony of the Seas for a Mediterranean cruise but decided to take cash instead and had 10 days of pure luxury instead in the Maldives with my hubby.
☆I earned an all expenses trip for two to Monteaux Switzerland to stay in a 5☆ Palace.
☆I earned an all expenses paid trip to New York, followed by a Cruise to Bermuda in 2020
☆And most recently I earned an all expenses paid trip to Disneyland Paris in 2021
The latter two trips unfornately had to be cancelled de to the Global Pandemic but in true Scentsy Style we were still given 5☆ treatment - Scentsy made CAsh deposits to our Accounts to compensate for missing the trips - and I was able to use the cash for home improvements.
☆I have attended events for work in Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Manchester and LA, Belfast
*I have spoken at National Events to help others in business too.
I love this company so much and want to keep achieving. Who wouldn't want a free holiday or presents just for doing your job!
I worked in Banking and Finance for 8 years and not once did I reap benefits like I do now. This little side job has given me so much!
I just want as many people enjoying this journey with me as possible, you may be my customer but we could be doing this together as teamies!
This year's Incentive Trip is a Royal Carribean Nordic Cruise around the Fjoirds and anyone who joins the company can work towards earning that. UNREAL!
